I have three issues with this product, which revolve around the yearly end of subscription. I always buy the next version, since that is significantly cheaper than renewing the subscription. Similarly, occasionally you can get in to blocked websites just using the ‘back’ button in the browser. I cannot start this computer at all now. Tried safe mode, tried loading from disk…nothing works.

So right now my computer is just a sad black box. I believe this is not a serious software flaw - Norton nor any other software has no business hijacking your computer and taking control away from your ability to stop installation of any program whatsoever.

My problem is it found 20 others that I do want to get rid of. So it gives me 2 choices, Exclude all of them from future scans or delete them all. I have to run it manually from the NIS screen and it will check, download and then fail to complete when processing updates. Received it ASAP from Amazon and had a clean install. It works pretty quickly in comparison to previous versions of Norton and certainly more effective than my most recent package, ZoneAlarm. All I have to do is enter the product key on our three machines, and I’m updated. One product key covers both our older 2009 and the newer versions. I received my purchase fairly quickly. My problem started when I attempted to install my purchase and I needed to enter the product ID number.
