Superior Quality Item At An Excellent Cost - Photography Business Software Review

By Addison Coleman On January 17, 2012 Under Computers

I called and spoke to a man in India who had an unintelligible accent unless he spoke very slowly. I had to ask him multiple times to slow down so I could understand him.

Now my Quicken Schedule C matches the one from MS-Money. That was a big concern. None of the available “help” options are of much help, and there is no documentation that I can find unless I go to the bookstore and buy a manual. Their support stinks. Some accounts have no transactions at all. Other accounts are off by more than a million dollars. I don’t see anything new from the previous version. If I know that I have to pay $2700 this month for car repair (an unusual expense), and I enter it into the Planning section, the program does not recognize it and say “Hey, you don’t have enough.” I have been using one click download for other accounts and when it works it’s great, but I keep getting error messages and need to call Quicken over and over to get anything resolved. At the current time the issues have not been resolved, so the whole point of having one click download and being able to see all your accounts updated at one time is not working for me. This junkware is nothing more than ads for other Intuit products. Fortunately, all you have to do is send these items to the recycle bin to be rid of them. But then attempting to update credit card balances, import past investment and banking statements, and make it all work, another story. It was hours of frustration with no resolution. I tried it for 5 minutes and realized it wasn’t what I was looking for and am now stuck with it! I will never download another item from Amazon until this return process or money back is looked at.

It did miss a few that it labels as “unavailable”. As far as I can tell Quicken offers at least the same choices of online banking that MS-Money did, if not more.

He repeated told me to do it the intuitive way which was wrong but could not tell me how to do it correctly. He researched and asked others.

I would not spend a penny on it but unfortunately there are not any other programs in the market.

If you are looking to convert from MS Money, I highly recommend you check if your financial institutions provide manual downloads that Money can import. There’s a good chance it will save more time than using Quickens automatic update. I was forced to upgrade since the feature of Quicken that allows automatically downloading transactions becomes deactivated after the program is 3 years old. There’s no good reason for this, other than for Intuit to force you to pay for an upgrade.

The prompts to connect to the web are quite annoying when using the investment portfolio functions. laundry cabinets.
